House of Memory is about longing for my family in Europe, focusing on the physical distance and impossibility of physical reunion due to unexpected circumstances. The distance between Texas and Europe is more than 5000 miles apart. Different elements from various locations (France, London, and Texas) are deconstructed into fragments and are recomposed into a house form. The use of entangled threads reinforces connectedness of disparate locations and human relationships.
